Yesterday was Alix's first birthday. Her mom and dad had a nice little party for her in the afternoon. Alix got some really nice jewelry and some cool new toys. Alix did seem to like Great Grandma's wrapping paper the best though :)
Alix was not a big fan of her birthday cake. She got pretty upset when we put her hands in the cake. She doesn't like to get dirty. She liked eating her cake with a spoon though.
Hard to believe that Christmas is only days away. I don't feel like the Grinch, but I don't really care too much for the holiday. My mood seems to get worse each year. I miss Jay and our life together and the holidays make me miss him more.
Oh, well.

What a Munchkin!! She's a doll. Caitlin was very dainty when eating her first birthday cake. Pinkie in the air and all that.
Oh how sweet!! The holidays are hard for a lot of people....hang in there girl.
